I was reading *Circuits, Packets, and Protocols *and the oral history transcript of Paul Baran at the computer history museum and I was wondering who Paul Baran's professors were at UCLA. I know his advisor was Grerald Estrin. Specifically, I am wondering if he might have crossed paths with Lowell Amdahl who I think (if wikipedia can be trusted) was a professor around the same time.
