[SIGCIS-Members] Literature on the place of science fiction (and its fandom) in the history of technology

Stephen Cass mentions the Pontin MIT interview with Neal Stephenson.  Here
is a five minute video excerpt of that interview in which Stephenson speaks
for the need for more utopian science fiction.  It's a great entry into
pondering the relationship between science fiction and engineering:

I'm sure Thomas Haigh has written elsewhere on this subject as well but he
