FW: [Sigtis-l] ASIST> SIG-SI: 2010 Social Informatics Best Paper Award
See below for a best published paper prize. The place of history within "social informatics" is not entirely clear (the new category was supposed to cover examination of the use and shaping of IT within many disciplines including business schools, sociology, anthropology, computer science, design, etc but in practice has gained traction primarily within former library science schools and even there rather unevenly). Still, if you have published something about the use of IT within some kind of STS framework it be worth nominating it. Particularly if you used the words "social informatics" at any point.
