I find it hard to believe that Morosov did not read anything by Andy Pickering on S. Beer. Andy has written a few things on Beer, who is a major character in “The Cybernetic Brain.” I don’t know if Eden covers the Brian Eno-Beer connection in her book, but Andy certainly spends a good deal of time on it in his. Pickering’s name isn’t anywhere in Evgeny’s article. Probably because Andy’s whole book subverts the argument of the New Yorker article. +++++++++++++++ David C.
