Dear SIGCIS and TEMSIG! My last day at the Computer History Museum will be Friday, September 13. I have decided to return back to industry after a combined sixteen years of involvement with CHM, including the last six as an employee. During this time, I have had the opportunity to learn a great deal from the community of academic and public historians and I want to especially thank SIGCIS and TEMSIG for warmly welcoming me when I was a newcomer. Attending the SHOT conferences and talking to many of you was an eye-opening experience and it greatly influenced my work at CHM. I am confident that some of the collecting and interpretive choices I made were a direct result of talks I listened to, panels I attended, and discussions I had at SHOT, the SIGCIS workshop, and the TEMSIG get-togethers. CHM is richer for it and the other curators will maintain the many excellent connections that have formed. Thank you! — Alex Bochannek, Curator & Senior Manager Computer History Museum 1401 N.
