Colleagues James Sumner has done us a great service by compiling his list. I would like to propose two items for his list both linked to Andrew Booth at Birkbeck College, London University. I have published a paper this year about him Andrew Booth - Britain's Other "Fourth Man" by Roger G Johnson in History of Computing - Learning from the Past, Proceedings of IFIP 9.7 HC 2010 edited by Arthur Tatnell published by Springer, IFIP ACT 325, 2010 pp.26-37. Short History of the School of Computer Science and Information Systems at Birkbeck College, May 2008, Birkbeck College, pp32. This contains a number of photos and extended description of Booth's contribution as a computer pioneer and also his contribution to the academic community and the founding of the BCS.
