Re: [SIGCIS-Members] [Edith.sig] ICOHTEC in July-August
That's great! I've used the article in my history of computing class and the students really enjoy it. Congratulations, Donna! Marie ______________________ Marie Hicks, Ph.D. Asst. Dear colleagues,
I am writing to see if any of you will be attending the International Committee for the History of Technology Symposium (ICOHTEC) in Brasov, Romania, July 28-August 2. I will be there July 30-August 4. If you are, please e-mail me off-list, and we can arrange to meet for a drink or a meal while we are there.
I also wanted to share some good news: one of my articles, "Keying Desire: Alfred Kinsey's Use of Machines for Sex Research" (Journal of the History of Sexuality, January 2013) won the 2014 ICOHTEC prize for best submitted article in the history of technology. It will be officially announced at the conference and on the ICOHTEC Web site in July.
Warm greetings from Germany,

Hi, The SIGCIS Member directory contains a page on "reyes partin", a mysterious colleague or perhaps a transhuman hybrid of a Nespresso machine? It's worth looking at. Best, Pierre Mounier-Kuhn https://cnrs.academia.edu/PierreMounierKuhn http://pups.paris-sorbonne.fr/pages/aff_livre.php?Id=838
