Thanks for mentioning it, Evan (and thanks for helping out with the Mobile section)! I hope that everybody who worked with us is aware how hugely appreciative we are. The Revolution exhibition took a lot of effort by a lot of people over several years and I am looking forward to answering any questions at SHOT/SIGCIS. I haven’t had a chance to talk to Tom about it yet, but if there is interest I can share a brief slide deck about the exhibition at the SIGCIS lunch. On a somewhat unrelated note, is anybody else (other than Slava Gerovitch) going to SoRuCom in Veliky Novgorod in a couple of weeks? Alex Bochannek Curator Computer History Museum 1401 N. Alex, all, Thanks for mentioning the Soviet computing conference: http://sorucom.novgorod.ru/english/ This event had escaped at least my attention. Searching for it, I see the book on the first of such conferences came out recently: "Perspectives on Soviet and Russian Computing". First Ifip Wg 9.7 Conference, Sorucom 2006, Petrozavodsk, Russia, July 3-7, 2006. Eds. John Impagliazzo, Eduard Proydakov. Springer 2011. Google books has parts of it: http://books.google.com/books?vid=9783642228155 Best wishes for the meeting, Petri On 30.8.2011 21:16, Alex Bochannek wrote:
