Dear all,

I am organizing a panel for the SIGCIS Workshop on Peripherals and Practices in the Living Room. This panel is looking at peripherals for media centres, computers and/or gaming systems that have appeared (sometimes prematurely) and never took hold. Hence they remained virtual until certain socio-cultural conditions and technological infrastructure could support their reappearance in later forms.
