Thanks, Mar! 

This prize is especially meaningful to me because it is named after the late Jean Palmegiano,  who invited me to be the keynote speaker in 2012 at a program on media history at St. Peter’s University.  I was then toying with the idea of doing this book, and she encouraged me. I wish she were around to see how that encouragement turned out.
