This video has been around the Internet for a while.  A year or two ago I asked Bob Kahn about the source of the video (he is also in the video), and he said it was done, as I remember, for the 1972 "coming out party" for the ARPANET held in DC at the ICCC meeting.  (I believe this conference is described in Hafner's book, and probably elsewhere.)
