Let it go, Dag?  Are you kidding?  I might be, at best, an amateur historian, but I do so hope I'm a genuine member of the " Internet cabal of SIGCIS 'historians' "!

I've never been in a cabal before, but I doubt cabal members let things go.  We must do something cabal-ish.
