Hi Peter:

Apologies for the delayed reply.

I don’t have an exact list of the books currently in our display. Instead, I have the list of books, with their (UK) prices, which were sought for the display initially, not all of which could in the event be obtained. A number of colleagues on SIGCIS helped us decide what to include in this list - and what to exclude!

Cheers

Brian Randell

Brian,

Some books I didn't recognize. Could you send us all a listing of the titles, etc.?

Hi:

Last weekend I took a mixed party of about twenty visitors around the School of Computing at Newcastle University, mainly to see our historical computing display (some ten display cabinets). But I also showed them our display (see attached photo) of books “Women in Computing” - it was the one display that the visitors actually applauded! (It is sponsored by Sage Computing, and we have arranged that additional copies of all the books on display are borrowable from the University Library.)

Cheers
