Evan (and everyone else),

I’m concerned about the business records for Radio Shack. Other than a small (117 lin ft) collection at the Fort Worth Library (unprocessed) there appears to be nothing available for historians from this business.

Does anyone have a contact either in RS records management or in senior management. They may not have any power left to determine the disposal of the records, but at least they can give us the lay of the land.

Anyone, please feel free to contact me offline about this.

Best,
Erik

Is anyone writing about the death of Radio Shack?

A reporter for the Wall Street Journal interviewed me on RS's imminent
death at World Maker Faire last fall (representing my user group). He
called today and said it'll probably be in print tomorrow and online
tomorrow or this afternoon.
