<p class="MsoNormal">There is! I’ve done a lot of archival work around BBS use in particular, which I’ve also collected as part of the
<a href="http://queerdigital.com/">Queer Digital History Project</a>. However, there’s far less detailed archival documentation around LGBTQ presences on commercial “walled gardens,” except for AOL. Queer spaces on these services, especially prior to the late
1990s, were often contingent or obscured from the general usership in various ways. So memory and oral history appear to be the next best sources.<o:p></o:p></p>
