History Fund grant award and best paper award for 2010:<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>Best paper award: Sarah Buchanan (UCLA), for her paper:
“Names the Same?: The Los Angeles Chapter of ASIST upon its
Semicentennial.” The award has a $500 prize. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>History Fund grant award: Andrew Russell (Asst. Prof., Stevens
Institute of Technology), for his proposal, “An open world: ideological
origins of network standards.” The grant is for $1,000. <o:p></o:p></p>
