Dear all,

Next Tuesday, three generations of AI entrepreneurs will be on our stage at the Computer History Museum for a panel on the AI hype cycle called “This Time It’s Different… <https://computerhistory.org/events/this-time-its-different/>”, moderated by tech journalist and author John Markoff.

If you’re in the Bay Area it’s free to attend in person, or it will be livestreamed and later posted to our YouTube channel.

The panelists are 1980s Expert Systems pioneer Jerry Kaplan of Teknowledge, 2000s Siri cofounder Adam Cheyer, and Liquid AI cofounder Daniela Rus for the modern wave; she also leads AI at MIT.

Before Siri Inc. was bought by Apple it deployed agentic AI capabilities still not available today, we have a CHM story  <https://computerhistory.org/stories/secrets-of-siri/>about that based around a previously secret interview with the Siri cofounders.

Best, Marc
