The importance of the work Con has done, now with this second book, is more
important than when he started on this line of research, largely because of
the role current AI tools are playing. In short, we now have to acquire a
new literacy as students of AI, information, software and IT in general:
understanding the role and wise uses of intellectual capital laws,
practices, and regulations. That's the bad news, more work for all of us
regardless of what we like to write about. The good news is that Con is
unveiling nice chunks of what we need to learn. I hope he continues down
that path because there is more to say and I can't think of a more
qualified historian to do that than our Con. Jim
