[SIGCIS-Members] International Species Information System?

Dear all,

 

On behalf of a colleague, I'm writing to see if anyone has any
source/literature tips on the International Species Information System? The
system was a computerized information system for zoo animals, designed in
the 1970s, and apparently was quite influential on zoo administration. Let
me know, and thanks in advance!
