[SIGCIS-Members] PhD Position: History of Public/Political Cybernetics

Dear colleagues,



I’m pleased to announce that I have an open, fully-funded PhD position in
the history of public and/or political cybernetics. The PhD project will
investigate how cybernetics influenced new ideas and practices regarding
public and/or political institutions in the post-1945 period. Beyond this,
the successful candidate will be free to shape the scope and focus of the
project (geographical, chronological, etc.). You can read more about the

The application deadline is April 5th, and the preferred starting date for
the position is September 1st. I will be the lead supervisor and the
