Just sharing out the (more or less?) finalized schedule for SIGCIS 2022,
which will be hosted on the last day of the 2022 SHOT Conference, Sunday,
November 13 in New Orleans.

Our keynote this year will be Lilly Irani, presenting "Organizing with
Histories to Tell the Future: Surveillance and Speculation at the US Mexico
Border."

More information, including info on registration, hotel, etc, can be found
on the SIGCIS Meetings website: https://meetings.sigcis.org/. As a
reminder, registration is handled by our parent organization, the Society
for the History of Technology (SHOT).

If you're planning to attend SHOT as well and haven't registered already,
please consider signing up for the SIGCIS "business lunch," where we will
see the return of the silent book raffle! It's a great moment for catching
up with colleagues, and I promise that very little "business" ensues!
