Hello SIGCIS,

Those of you with an interest in the history of computer science might want
to check out the Stanford Historical Society which has been conducting a lot
of oral histories lately. One series with engineering faculty includes
interviews with notables such as Donald Knuth, Vint Cerf, Martin Hellman and
Jeffrey Ullman. The interviews are competently done and presented to a high
standard. I am not a fan of the web interface used to browse the
transcripts, but if you click the "Share and Download" button, then
"Download" and then scroll all the way down to "Other download options" and
click "Download Object 1" you can get the actual PDF.

There is also online access to the late-1980s series of Silicon Valley
project interviews with well known figures from the early days of Silicon
Valley.

Best wishes,
