Stevens Institute of Technology (USA:NJ) - Computers and Society (NTT)
Teaching Assistant Professor (full-time, non-tenure-track, multi-year renewable faculty appointment) in Science and Technology Studies
Candidate will teach an undergraduate course on “Computers and Society,” whose primary enrollees are Computer Science majors, as their main teaching duties, starting in Fall 2022, in Hoboken, New Jersey (directly adjacent to Manhattan)
"Candidates should have a PhD (or be ABD) in a field affiliated with or closely related to Science and Technology Studies, including the History, Anthropology, Sociology, or Philosophy of Science and/or Technology. ... The successful candidate will also possess experience teaching STS-related courses at the undergraduate level, with preference given to candidates whose work makes connections between technical aspects of computing technologies and their social outcomes."
