Dear all,
In June this year, Newcastle Historic Computing Committee organised an event celebrating the inauguration of a new exhibition of computing history related to the acquisition of Newcastle’s System/360-67 computer and the groundbreaking MTS operating system. For anyone that missed it, or who wants to relive the event, there is a wonderful event report written by our own John Law on the Committee’s webpages: https://blogs.ncl.ac.uk/cs-history/inauguration-day/. There is also a video of the talks in full, timestamped for each speaker, and with subtitles. The video is linked within the webpage, but can also be found directly here: https://vimeo.com/353896736.
Best,
Troy Astarte
