Hi everyone -

It was terrific to see many of you in Portland. I'm writing to remind you of the interdisciplinary conference celebrating the achievements and legacy of Ada Lovelace, to be held at Stevens Institute of Technology this Friday, October 18, from 9-6. Stevens is in Hoboken, NJ, directly across the Hudson River from Chelsea and easily accessible by PATH train, bus, or ferry.

The conference features a 5 pm keynote address by Valerie Aurora (Ada Initiative), a lunchtime plenary address by Tom Misa (Babbage Institute), and panels on women in computing, steampunk literature, art in the digital world, and Ada in the literary world.

If you plan to attend, please register by 5 pm on Tuesday, October 15, to help us plan for food, coffee, etc. For more details please visit http://www.stevens.edu/calconference/.

Cheers,

Andy
