[SIGCIS-Members] PC history

Hello, I'm new to this list so apologies if I'm asking about something you
have discussed in the past. I posed this question on twitter and someone
recommended that I do the same here.

I'm looking for histories of the emergence of the personal computer that
center on ordinary users and ideas about their experiences rather than on
inventors, companies, and machines. Something like what Lynn Spigel does
with television in her book Make Room for TV - I wonder if anyone has done
anything like Make Room for PC?

(My interest is actually primarily in early video games but of course there
is substantial overlap between video game history and PC history.)

Thanks!
