[SIGCIS-Members] First photo on the web?

finally i thought i should say hello to all.

first, i've to admit i am a european journalist.  anyhow, i would conclude the only thing one can learn from the article is: at stanford you could find  followers of the grateful dead, at cern some liked "les horribles cernettes". 

however, i am still wondering the following, simply out of curiosity: as it appeared as suspicious "in the old days" if computer scientists didn't play in a band or an instrument, what did the networking people sing or play?  asking around a little bit it seems they didn't even whistle. computer companies as ibm at least had a band and songbooks, and others had anthems ...
